1st I made a throw pillow (only one because I was not really sure how it was going to turn out).
So after a few phone calls to my mother-in-law, for some Q& A, I got started.
It did not take nearly as long as I thought it would, and it actually turned out pretty good.Here is David sleeping on the finished product. He was actually the one to pick out the fabric. He loves floral design.
Next I wanted to make all these letters to spell out Hammer , but once again I decided to just start with one. It is a wood cut out, painted on the sides, and scrapbook paper on the top.
Last but not least I made another batch of jam. Blackberry. Have not tried it yet, but I leaned from the best (gma Carol), so it should be wonderful!
Not only did I do all this in one day but I also worked, I think I filled my creative quota for the next year.

AWESOME! Rachel, I love the pillow ... and the letter is awesome! (I assume you spelled out the rest of it?) We opened up the jam you sent us just today ... and its wonderful. You are no longer allowed to get upset at the rest of us for being creative ... you have flair of your own!
Oh my gosh, you're such a Hammer! Way to go Rachel. And I want to buy all your jam off of you, so call me!
