It had to be fate

We have decided in the past year that we would like to get another dog. Unfortunately our apartment complex only allows us to have one. None the less I like to keep my eye out for that lucky day when Timber can have a friend/enemy. Lately I have seen a handful of Australian Shepherds and decided this is the dog for me. I must admit I am slightly swayed by the rescue stories I was reading and you never know when you might need to be rescued (and its obvious Timber is not up for that job) and they remind me of my childhood dogs. Any who I think they are so pretty and I have my mind set on them.

It turns out it was fate for me to want this dog,

According to the American Kennel Club (AKC) these dogs originated from the Pyrenees mountains and came over with Basque shepherds! Its in my blood! I can't deny my Basque heritage and my hidden desire to be a shepherd. Now all I need is my new dog... and some sheep.

Go team

So I found out today that I got the assistant manager position at my store! Exciting! Tomorrow I am off to Trinity Western University (right across the boarder) to see about starting school again, I seem to be on the 10 year plan, but hey at least its a plan.
Excited to see what this next year holds!

Mt. Baker

On Friday I worked early in the morning which gave David and I the whole afternoon to do whatever we pleased. And on this rare occasion I told him I wanted to go for a hike (which he correctly understood to mean go outside but wear sandals) So we went up Mt Baker highway and stopped at some gorgeous places. Timber enjoyed the mini ponds

Most of the trails were infested with old people but we passed them all up and showed them who was boss.

Behind us is Mt. Baker
