My response " I think that is just my skin color...but thanks"
Maybe its about time for my skin to see some sun.

Life in the city (well kind of)

I had my work Christmas party at our house last night and let me say it started off on the right foot.

My doorbell rings and as I go to answer I here the girls outside scream. Turns out a little kitten that lives across the street decided to tempt fate and got hit by a truck. They saw truck hit it and the kitten continued to flop around after it was hit. So now at this point, (it is dead) we are all standing by the street watching this while the mama and other little kittens are coming into the street to get it (mind you this is a busy street and many cars are passing and it is dark). So in order to avoid seeing another death, I go into the back yard and grab my shovel. Then I go into the middle of the street with cars on both sides and pick up the dead kitten and carry it on my shovel to the neighbors house and put it near their front door. As soon as I put it down the other kittens start eating it. Nice. Don't fear the reaper.
