Lately I have be feeling slightly creative (which is quite some feat in it of itself). So I have put my skills to work and this is what I have made for better or worst.
1st I made a throw pillow (only one because I was not really sure how it was going to turn out).
So after a few phone calls to my mother-in-law, for some Q& A, I got started.

It did not take nearly as long as I thought it would, and it actually turned out pretty good.
Here is David sleeping on the finished product. He was actually the one to pick out the fabric. He loves floral design.

Next I wanted to make all these letters to spell out Hammer , but once again I decided to just start with one. It is a wood cut out, painted on the sides, and scrapbook paper on the top.

Last but not least I made another batch of jam. Blackberry. Have not tried it yet, but I leaned from the best (gma Carol), so it should be wonderful!

Not only did I do all this in one day but I also worked, I think I filled my creative quota for the next year.

Why have kids when I already have one?

We have often come home to a mess that Timber makes while we are gone. But who can blame her? She may be home by herself for 8 hours ... what would you do? She usually finds things in the trash to drag out, but we have discovered that she can jump straight onto our table which is next to the counter. We try not to leave food up there but neither of us really loves to do the dishes. So I came home and found this wonderful mess. She found last nights Teriyaki chicken and sauce in a bowl. So after vigorously licking the bowl she knocked it off the counter, which it then proceeded to shatter. So after mopping and sweeping several times , I thought I got the mess up but that sauce is very sticky and I have since gotten more that 3 different shards in my foot. All that to say... she is lucky she is cute.

First and foremost we got new fish! We went in looking for a single fish but I then gave David the go ahead to get 3 and I must say I have never seen his face light up like that. So we now have 4 (kinda 5). 1 is living beneath the aquarium and we discovered Pinchy the crabs carcass underneath the rocks.

Davids parents were up here for a little over a week. One day we drove the 1 through Canada, It was a long drive but super pretty, we saw lots of cool old churches

We also went to Orcas Island. This is Timber on top of the world.

I have been a bit slower than my ambitous wife on putting posts up, so here is a littel picture reel for you to enjoy of what i might have missed putting up. a hike up to twin lakes that me and a couple buddies took. we didnt make it, there was still too much snow. i went fishing by myself for a few hours at baker lake...no fish but it was a nice day.

Rachel forgot to mention on this camping trip that me and jessie got the pleasure of pulling her and timber and jessica around the lake while we fished.

We took Timber in the boat for the first time and she actually only jumped out once , while we were by shore becasue I got a hook stuck in my pants

June 13th that is. My birthday. With some pictures to prove it as well as some others. Timber splashing around in the golf course lake. Its been pretty warm here so she needs cool off somewhere. But she did poop in this lake the other day....

My Birthday!!!!

David made me cinnamon rolls, a great way to start the day

Then we went down to Birch Bay where we had a picnic and played some volleyball. Timber explored and rested in the shade.
We then went to see Star Trek and went to dinner at a restaurant on the water, it was wonderful.

Last but not least June is Dairy Month, so the local paper took pictures of any business who was involved with dairy and It so happens that we use milk, so i got to be in the paper. David is so proud.
