Oooo

This morning Timber and I went out for a run and along the way a nice old man stopped us and asked if we went to pick some wild flowers yet. Since I grew up in Corona, it never really occurred to me that there are wild flowers (not weeds) to be picked. So the man gave us directions and off we went.
There are fields covered in these yellow daffodils. It was so cool. So I picked some, during which I felt like I was on Little House on the Prairie, and now they are in a vase in my kitchen.
Its the little things that make living in a new place so fun.

It's beer making season

First batch of Hammer Beer David and his trusty partner Grayson

So after weeks of preparation all is done. Now the beer needs to sit just a week longer and it will be ready to drink.

Baitx Parents

My parents finally came up this past week. We got our new place in order so they had some where to sleep. We pretty much did everything there is to do up here and for being February most of the days were beautiful.
Whatcom Falls Park
Oh the Roonskers

We even one day had the luck of seeing a dead goat in the farm land, which in it of itself isn't that great, but it attracted a ton of bald eagles, which is good.

Clockwork Orange

Yeah! We finally went snowboarding! But since we are both so out of shape we only lasted about an hour.
Mt. Baker

We moved! Our new place is great. This is Timbers back yard. Our neighbor has already called the cops on us. According to her TImber is out and barking all day and all night. But after a brief conversation with a Lynden cop we got it all worked out.

To whom it may conern

Dear Northwest Washington and Southern British Columbia,

It has been made known to me your plans for the last and next few months. It seems as if you enjoy the constant cold, gray weather. And while it is nice to have seasons, this has gone far enough. If you choose for it to be cold at least let there be some sunshine, or if you insist on it being freezing let it be so cold that it snows and gives a winter wonderland feel. I would really rather just wear one jacket instead of two, and still be cold I might add. I realize you will choose to change your ways in about 3 months but that is unacceptable, and if there is any way to speed up that process I would greatly appreciate it.

Sincerely Vitamin D Deprived

Rachel

P.S. The only reason I put up with you atrocious behavior is because May-October you are the best.

A couple weeks ago my grandpa Ray passed away, and while it was sad I am glad he is now in a better place and not in pain.

I flew home for the funeral, while David worked his butt off to move all our stuff into our new place. (pictures to come soon since it still looks like an a-bomb went off in our living room)

Most of the family

Reddel family= lots of people

Anywho...
