Fishing

Lakes are quite abundant here, I currently have five to choose from withen about a 45 minute drive. So with the sun shining and my new vessel needing to become sea worthy, Rachel and I decided to try out Terrel lake.

Unfortunately the fish didnt know it was feeding time and so it became more of a relaxing float amongst some lily pads, but i guess that's what fishing is all about. here's a couple of pics to enjoy.

I will say living here with warm weather and the sun out is like vacationing, with so much to do and explore and very little people to be bothered by... well it's very peaceful to say the least. and on that note we have had my sister amy, sister and brother-in-law Heidi and Caleb and our cousin Jenna come and stay with us. So you should too...

David also got all this with birthday money. Rei was having their garage sale so he got some awesome deals. Snowboard jacket, snowboard boots, hiking pants, and running shoes all for $120. Not bad

Life in Lynden

10 year anniversary answer

As some of you know David had his 1o year anniversary on April 3rd. It is officially 10 years since that fateful night when my wonderful husband got arrested for  braking  store windows with a pea shooter. I am happy to say he has not been arrested since...

In other news, David likes his job. His face is really tan but everything else is white as usual

I got food poisoning as a little going away present from my job with kids. I have started my new job at Woods Coffee 2 days ago. Jenna is moving out  and going back home in the next few weeks. Which I am pretty bummed about but happy for her. Timber is still Timber. 

Davids Birthday Party

On Saturday we had friends over to celebrate David's 28th birthday.
This first picture is of our friend Jessie, who I asked to help me make dinner. And let me just say if she was not there I would never have got it done at all. Jessie and I started grocery shopping in the morning and started cooking at 1:00. We did not finish until 6:00, and since I usually don't cook for longer than 10 mins, this was some task. The menu consisted of:
Artichoke Dip, Ribs, asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes, gourmet mac n cheese, and an awesome cake made by Jenna.

By the end of the night we were playing Poker. I had the final winning hand to take the whole pot, too bad we weren't playing for real money

Tonight at the stroke of midnight will mark the 28th year of my wonderful husbands life.
I am so lucky to have him.
