Well....

Well good news and bad news. The good news is I was not sleeping on a nest of spiders and there are no bugs in my bed. Bad news- we have bird mites and they are in our living room.
Now you may ask what is a bird mite? It is a type of mite that lives in a bird nest and when the baby birds are all grown up and leave the nest, so do they. They then proceed to the nearest place with living things which happens to be my house.
The reason we think its these mites is because David researched and they are common in this area and come out in spring when the weather gets nice. And the pictures of their bites match all of the bites I have all over my body.
So once we figured this out, we made a late night run to target and home depot to load up on supplies, then stayed up way past our bedtime stripping and cleaning everything in our house.
Then the next day we cleaned again and let off a bug bomb.
And today I shall clean again.
I told my mom that telling people we have bird mites makes me feel very white trash. But I swear were not.

Itchy

Washington right now is great. Right now when I wake up at 4:45 the sun is beginning to rise and when I go to bed a 9 the sun has almost finished setting. But one thing I am not a big fan of is the spiders. They are EVERYWHERE! Or backyard is infested with them. On the side of the house there are hundreds of tiny spiders that have just hatched. And even after David kills them there are still more. And the past couple of nights I have woken up with tons of bug bites all over. And let me tell you they ITCH. So I have washed sheets, checked Timber for fleas and have found nothing, yet I am continuing to get bit, while David does not even have one bite. So the question is, are there a couple bugs in our room that really like my blood or am I sleeping on a nest of spiders?
I sure hope its just one mosquito who is really hungry, otherwise we are moving..
On another note I fired my first employee this weekend. Not the funnest thing to do but it was a learning experiance.
